Android Android for noobs ?

I've never used a Android phone - actually never used any smartphone. My cousin got a Moto G 16GB free - he was one of the first to book it on FK or something - and he's giving it to me.

Before using it I would like to read up - at least know what not to do - before I use the phone. I remember the first time I installed Windows ( Me ! ) and started using it. Want to avoid the gotchas. Anything I can read ?
 
There is no not to do caution list. Just have a Google account and sign in with it.. Install apps from Google play store only and Don't tick allow apps from unknown sources..Enjoy the android experience :)
