Should I go with Reliance Broadband and is there any FUP Applicable?

Should I go with Reliance Broadband and is there any FUP Applicable?

    Hi Friends,

I am thinking to get a New Reliance Broadband Connection at Home. Got following details from Welcome to Reliance Communications for Combo Plan:

1 . So should I go with Reliance?

    2. Also is there any FUP Applicable on these plans (as the above screenshot is showing UNLIMITED)? If yes, what's the limit?

    Help Appreciated

    Regards

P.S. I already had AirTel Connection and their service s*cks in my area :@

^^ True.. I am on wimax and the plan I said is not applicable for Wimax connections. You have to just convince the CC in believing that you are on a wired conn and not on wimax and get the plan changed. I am very close to Bagmane tech park.

Hm its pathetic for gaming. Wimax generally is due to high pings. I havent faced any dropped conns though... Pings are between 150-200 to SG servers.

For gaming alone I am keeping an airtel conn with limited plan

If u get the wired one, reliance gives u really nice pings, and that 749 plan (of course with additional taxes) looks awesome

Does it gives exact 1Mbps or slightly more. I am on AIRTEL & get 1.3Mbps instead of 1Mbps....

Re: Should I go with Reliance Broadband and is there any FUP Applicable?

I'm looking into getting a reliance connection and the sales guy I'm talking to gave me the following plan options:

    300 kbps Rs 499

    600 kbps Rs 649

    1 Mbps Rs 1099

600 kbps day and 1Mbps night Rs 749

    He said there's no FUP.

^So can a new user opt for the connection if he does not have a landline connection at all? Seems like a good price after all. I wouldn't use the landline connection anyway.

I had taken a new connection and a cat5 cable was brought to my house a box was connected to the cat5 and both the PC and phone were connected to the box.

Phone charges are included in the tarrif and you needn't use the phone if you don't want to. Though it's sometimes a useful backup.
