    India’s 2nd largest Broadband Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch new promotional 10 Mbps Broadband Plan over its Fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) triple play High Speed Broadband service with core network speed up to 10 Gbps in Delhi Telecom circle.

    MTNL introduces New FTTH Unlimited Broadband (with FUP on Speed) 1990 Plan which comes at monthly rental of Rs. 1990 offers 10 Mbps speed up to 80 GB data usage. Beyond 80 GB the speed will be 1 Mbps for further true unlimited data usage.

    Apart from the above new plan MTNL also offering five FTTH Unlimited Broadband (with FUP on Speed) and one Limited Plans starting from Rs. 590 per month. The 2 Mbps plan comes at Rs. 590, 4 Mbps and 10 Mbps speed unlimited plans with FUP on speed will cost Rs. 690 to Rs. 1290.

    Actually i called up the CC of Mtnl delhi yesterday to book the FTH 690 plan as it suits my needs but firstly they don't even know about all this fiber thing but when i told them that i have seen this on their website then one "BABU" told me that these plans are only for the socities and housings.Sadly i can't book the plan



    Can you tell me how to book it since on 1504 i don't get any useful information.

    ^ i did a search on mtnl's site for "ftth" & i was able to see the plans... the are pretty damn useless indeed.

    don't really think its worth with FTH, if you look at the cap limit, beyond 80gb is mere crap, i dont think any1 would want to pay for that kind of speeds after u cross 80 gigs. I think they need to re-think what they offering, if it were 10mbps with a 150 gigs limit and 4mbps beyond that, makes sense.
