List of cars coming to India in 2010

Friends,

I saw this list on NDTV Car and Bike Show Facebook community. Someone had posted it there. The list is intriguing, but has major flaws in it as well.
Like for example Ford and Nissan are not taking part in the show but the author has registered Figo and 370Z will be launched during the ocassion..

is the VW polo priced at 7 to 8 lakhs,i thought it would be around 4 to 5lakh,atleast thats what autocar said in their magazine

Naaah.... It's a crap list.

The guy who compiled the list basically just listed all the cars he would love to have in India. Big deal.

Toyota Corolla Diesel - will sell crazy in this country
Toyota Yaris hatchback at 6-8laks!? Overpriced. *sigh*

VW Phaeton, will flop. Just like it did everywhere else.
VW Scirocco, 14 lakhs for a gorgeous hothatch, but a VW name. Hmmm.
VW Polo, it's already here - I've seen 3 myself. Will be a good premium hatch but interiors are quite sad right now.

Mini Cooper at 16.5 lakhs. Wooh! This will be the superhatch to beat at that price. Sweeet!

Mitsu i - will believe it when I see it.
Mitsu New Lancer at 9.5lakhs? Fat chance. They'll lower Cedia to 8lakhs and sell new Lancer at 11+ to compete with Cruze. And mostly lose again.
Mitsu Evo - no mention? I think this is the first one on the cards innit?

Nissan GT-R at 65 lakhs will be awesome.
Nissan 370z at 30-35 is sweeter. Ah z!

Skoda - boring.

Chevy Aveo - the international version ain't nothing great anyway.

Hondy City/Accord/CR-V Diesels? The iCTDi is a very very renowned engine, here's hoping it gets here.

Alfa Romeo? Drooooooooooool. *hoping* *praying*


TBH, I don't expect so many car launches. I see these lists every year by the car magazines and usually less than 30-40% turn up on the road. I would have loved to see a BMW 1-series somewhere in the mix, ah well.
