WTB Headphones/Headset/Mixamp for gaming on Ps3

Hi,

I am looking to buy either a combination of mixamp + headphone/headset or just a good True (not virtual) surround sound headphone/headset for 90% gaming purposes on my PS3

Requirements :-

1. Big XL size Ear Cans

2. Cloth padded a MUST (Leather padded are a strict NO - NO)

3. Strong Build Quality, cos i am a very clumsy chap

4. Headset not compulsory but preferable, can use my BT headset for voice chat

5. Wired instead of wirless

6. Closed Cans preferable

7. 10 feet cord length minimum (my gaming setup is that far from where i sit)

8. No preference in terms of company

9. 90% gaming on PS3 with no TV out audio option available with my TV

10. Budget irrelevant can be stretched but ideally looking for under 5 to 6 K, main consideration is that it should be a VFM for my requirements

Hoping for some good suggestions from all the knowledgable people !!!

Well, I have been reading quite a lot on various options for my requirements since the last two days, and from what i have read, i have concluded that True Surround sound headphones are not feasible for Indian market (for PS3) as they need to be imported and lack warranty.

SO i think i will have to go the virtual way. So i narrowed it down to a few headphones that I am considering buying, and Sennheiser HD555 and Audio technica 700 are on the top of my list. Any suggestions regarding this from guys who have tried both for gaming purposes. Also i can't seem to find the Senn HD555 anywhere, any info regarding that would be highly appreciated as well.

Now coming to the AMPLIFIER, I am totally confused regarding this, any suggestions would be highly appreciated !!!!
