Reply With QuoteI have not seen the ne-6 3.5mm jack , I fixed my philips headphone with fevibond , Inserted little gum inside between the wires and hard headphone jack joint with the help of pin , after that it stopped coming out .
your problem occurred due to pulling of wire , you need to pull the hard headphone jack not the wires .........

Problem in nuforce ne-6 :(
When i am using my nuforce ne-6s , the vocals are becoming very faint, only lows and highs are coming. On twisting the cable guard(that hard rubber part) near the earphone jack, the problem solves for few minutes but again when the cable turns a little, again the problem starts. The problem is near that hard part of the jack. What should i do?? they are just eight months old and i simply love them. Is there any way i can get it repaired without any issues?? What should i do?

A local mechanic came with a solution of cutting the jack and soldering new jack on the wire end. But,there is one question, will it lower its sound quality? I wont have any problem if there is a tape wound in between etc. but i cannot compromise its SQ

Dont remove and solder , its bad idea , some times it may die and SQ will definitely reduce !

Please suggest me any other then in range < 3k which are better than ne-6's and i just want bass bass and bass....
