Default Dell Studio XPS 16 Audio Issues

My Dell Studio XPS 16 makes strange whistling noises when the headphones are connected. They are especially pronounced when the windows are minimized/restored. Oh and before some body says it, no I do not have a windows sounds set for those.

These disappear when I am using foobar via ASIO4all. I am wondering what might be the cause of these and how to remove them.

Also is there anyway to hook Media Player Classic through ASIO4all because that is the annoying part because these sounds come in when I am watching a movie.
