Hey
I bought the Creative Gigaworks T40 from Dubai about 7-8 months ago. It seems now that it has a problem. One of the internal connectors is faulty. The Creative Service Station here in Delhi refuses to repair it. Other normal electronics repairers say only the manufacturer can repair it, since the connector has to be replaced from the board.
These are an expensive pair of speakers, costing me about Rs.9,000/-.
Any idea from where I can get it repaired?
What sort of an internal connector is it? Is it soldered onto the board? Could you post a pic of it if you've tried opening the speaker casing?
You still have warranty for the speakers - why don't you shoot a mail to Creative Customer Care Asia and wait for a response - assuming they have some loyalty they may let you get this serviced from here.
