I am just listing a few features:- (it does out of the box)

    • Stop windows that pop-up, pop-under, or pop-over

    • Stop those un-closable endless banner chains

    • Stop pop-up JavaScript message boxes

    • Remove web-branding and other scripts tacked on by "free" web providers.

    • Convert most ads and banner pictures into simple text links

    • Freeze all animated gifs

    • Make blinking text appear as bold instead

    • Remove slow web counters

    • Stop web pages from "auto-refreshing"

    • Prevent pages from changing fonts

    • Get rid of or replace web page background images

    • Protect against getting "trapped" inside someone else's frames!

    • Make all frames resizable

    • Close top or bottom frame banner windows

    • Protect against getting "trapped" inside someone else's frames!

    • Make background MIDI songs play only when you choose.

    • Remove status bar scroll-texts

    • Remove "dynamic" HTML from pages

    • Disguise your browser's identity and version from JavaScripts

    • Remove style sheets

    • Un-hide URLs when the mouse is over a link

    • Disable frames or tables altogether

    • Change or delete cookies

    • Change your browser's user-agent and other identifying fields

    • Hide where you've been previously from inquisitive web servers

and, as they say, much, much more.

    You can get it fromhere

    get some good filters from

http://www.streamload.com/jp10558/public in the proxyX-XX-XXXX.zip file, where the X's are the date it was last updated.

The JD list filters are superb.

Although this is essentially add/pop-up blocker it does much more than that. You can change the way a page looks with it.

For more proxo resources go to http://www.kye-u.com/proxo/forums/index.php

These days pop-up blockers r integrated with browsers.but many people use it for more different and advanced purposes.

I use Opera as i find it better. But the point is no other soft (ff doesnt even come close) allows you to controll your browsing like this one does.

    agree there.

I agree ff is cool in many ways but opera is certainly the best even now as far as cache management goes. A simple test is that on very slow connection, if you try to open a site, its usually opera that opens it rather than ff. Opera has got a speed advantage and combine that with grt password mnager and M@,is certainly among the best out there.

Yep, the latest version of Opera i.e, v8 is compatible with GMail.

besides, GMail will come out with an HTML version of webmail

so that all browsers will be able to access it
You don't need to know everything!

    You just need to know how to <span style="color: Blue">G</span><span style="color: Red">o</span><span style="color: Orange">o</span><span style="color: Blue">g</span><span style="color: SeaGreen">l</span><span style="color: Red">e</span>!!
    </p>

    HONESTLY, U don't know????????????????????????????????

I agree the default installation takes so much screen space, but once u turn off /remove all unwanted, it's just wonderfull. It also adjusts the webpage inside the display area, so that u never hve to use the horizontal scroll bar again.

Use the ver 8 beta. There's nothing wrong with it.

BTw, wanna see a opera screenshot. here u go. see how lean it is

Opera is the leanest, once you're done with it.

This is my setup, the menu bar (file, edit, view, etc.) is disabled as well since it's not needed much (enabled in the shot by mistake).
