Default Re: Is there any P2P app for smart mobiles ?

^ I favoured the iPod touch because of this statement and the lower cost as well, considering Switch needed a device for p2p and not a fully blown cellphone.

@ alsiladka - Dude, I've tried out almost every phone on the market currently and please don't try justifying Symbian one bit cause its definitely slow and the coding is nowhere near perfect. I personally use Symbian (on a P990i) and it still manages to throw up errors every 3-4 days on continuous usage. Same with WinMobile (5,6 and custom ROMs), they are definitely not stable as a rock.

Just curious btw, how many different OS'es have you used?

And don't give me 8Mbps WiFi rubbish, if you have access to a 8Mbps UL WiFi line, then that's excellent, most of us here dont.

@ Party Monger - Continuous disk caching on an external card is not recommended. It greatly reduces the life of the card and is very prone to data loss. I've experienced it first hand when trying to download a torrent onto a Sd card in a laptop slot.

I request somebody with proper equipment and spare time to try it out
To be honest, give this idea a skip and get yourself a ASUS EEE 4G with an external USB HDD.
