Well I never liked Fedora..The Gnome version sucked big time.. and in this they are proving unconfigured KDE unlike open SUSE will provide the best looking KDE 4.. As far as compiz is concerned since they are providing KDE 4 you will get Desktop Effects of KDE 4 can' say anything about Gnome though..

P.s : Just got my Ubuntu Cd's Will Install it but I am loving Mandriva atm
