Yep you are right. Now you can use edubuntu as an Ubuntu addon.. If and only if you have pre-installed Ubuntu and I have ordered edubuntu to gave my and my Mom school FOSS display and shifting them to FOSS and Gnu/Linux.. So I'll be a lil bit busy these days..
