It is not necessary to allocate space for /boot.. I would rather suggest you to mount you /home in diff. partition as its pretty helpful and if you save it under Main File system and in future you plan to re-install or install dif.. GNU OS ..you will lose all the data in /home But if it is in diff. partition data will be left intact
