Looks good , for that budget .. make sure you get D0 stepping of i7
3.Ram-DDR3 4gb (2x2) - OCZ- 6144rs
somewhere i read 6gb for 5.5k which one is it ??
i7 supports triple channel memory , so go for either 1gb x 3 or 2gb x 3 configuration
4.Screen-24" Asus -16660rs
5.PSU-Coolermaster 650w-4150rs
AVOID AT ANY COST , you ll need atleast a Corsair Vx550 or similar to drive that machine .. coupled with a good gfx card
6.Case-Antec 900 - prime- 6960rs.. any possiblity of getting this case cheaper at sm other place ??
Antec 900 doesn't sell any more , it has been replaced by Antec 902 .. but i doubt its availability in India , Can look @ HAF 922 .
7.HDD 500gb-4000rs
Segate 7200.12 - Rs 2800
Total is around - 66514..are those prices correct ?? or chances of getting it cheaper :\

GFX-I already have a 8800gts 512 ..well i know its kindda outdated but m planning to use it ..has it become so bad ?? i mean wll i be able to play atleast latest games till now (cod4/5,assassins creed, recon, stalker) plz help me on this ..may be by nxt yr ill change my gfx

2.Will 8800gts support 1080p on asus 24" screen
Yes , it will suppory 1080p but you won't be able to play new games @ that resolution with that card .
thanks
+1 to The Sorcerer's configuration , more balanced ..

Good Luck
